Agriturismo Arà is strategically located for you who wish to truly experience the territory of the ancient County of Modica!
In the middle of the countryside, in the traditionally pastoral district of Nacalino, you will find yourself exactly halfway between the wonderful baroque center of Modica and the splendid seaside hamlet of Marina di Modica. It will take you only a few minutes by car to reach both, and you can then choose, each day, the adventure of your choice.
In a short time it is also possible to reach the commercial hub of Modica with its numerous stores and, for those who wish to extend the journey beyond the Modica territory, in no more than half an hour the fascinating baroque sites of Scicli, Ragusa Ibla, Ispica, as well as the populated seaside resorts of Sampieri and Pozzallo can be reached.
We are therefore in the heart of the municipalities of the Val di Noto declared UNESCO World Heritage Sites and the fascinating and beloved places of Montalbano.

By airplane

Arà is located in Modica, in the province of Ragusa. By air you can reach Sicily via the airports of:
- Comiso - Aeroporto degli Iblei, from which you can rent a car to reach Modica center in just 30 minutes, following the directions.
- Catania Fontanarossa, directly connected with Modica by AST line buses (in 1 hour and 3 quarters you will reach Modica center from the airport);
- Palermo Falcone and Borsellino, From Palermo FS central station you can reach Modica in four hours, by buses of the AST line. A CAR HIRE service is available at the same airports.
Once in Modica center, where the AST bus terminus is located, you can take a cab to reach us (direction Contrada Nacalino) or, by contacting us in advance, check the availability of transportation service to our farmhouse.

By car

From Catania: drive along the entire A18 freeway, as far as Rosolini, then follow the signs for Marina di Modica; from here continue towards Modica along the via Sorda Sampieri along which you will find on your left a crossroads signposted C.da Nacalino. Take the crossroads and drive about 1.5 km: on your left, just before a small bridge, you will find our sign.
From Palermo: drive in the direction of Caltanisetta, Caltagirone, Ragusa, to the junction for Modica Sorda. Drive along S.S. 115 to the third traffic circle (you will notice the Solaria shopping center and the Moda Italia store), at which you take the first exit to via Sorda Sampieri. Continue on this road until you meet, on your right, the intersection for C.da Nacalino (just after the riKrea building). Take it and drive about 1.5 km: on your left, just before a small bridge, you will find our sign.
